Why do I need a cookie banner?
To maintain GDPR compliance your website must display a cookie consent banner that allows the user to accept/decline cookies while browsing your site.
Enzuzo supports direct Webflow integration, simply create your account by logging in via the Webflow SSO option on the login page.
Choose "Login with Webflow" from app.enzuzo.com/login and log in with your Webflow account credentials.
You will be redirected to Webflow and brought to an app authorization screen that looks like this:
Select your website and press Authorize.
You will be brought back to app.enzuzo.com logged in and redirected to the app homepage.
You will be presented with the Onboarding dialog
It will contain a list of sites in your Webflow account
You can select one or more sites and press Next
Pick the site that is your primary domain and press Take Me There
Go to Consent Banner > Add to Website
You will see the following screen
You can now press "Install" or "Uninstall"
Installing should cause the Consent Banner to become active on your staging
Webflow site
Uninstalling should do the opposite
For existing Enzuzo accounts or creating an Enzuzo account via email
If you have an existing account with Enzuzo that matches your Webflow account,
Login or create a new account via email
Go to the Consent Banner -> Add To Website
You should see the screenshot above
If you press connect, you should be taken here Webflow oauth screen
After you pick your site(s) and press Authorize it should bring you back to the Add
To the Website area and you should see the screenshot above
The Install/Uninstall process is the same as mentioned above.
Advanced Installation
You can manually install the Enzuzo cookie banner by embedding the script found on Consent Banner > Add to Website. Copy the script URL and then follow these instructions:
Open your Webflow site and click on the + at the top left.
Scroll down to the "Components" section and click on "Embed".
Paste your generated code snippet into the text field and click "Save & Close".
Click "Publish" at the top right, select your website (and click the open in a new tab icon next to it), and click "Publish to Selected Domains".
Now go to the tab with your website, hit refresh, and the cookie bar should be present!
Updating Privacy Policy Link Step-by-Step
Enzuzo allows for customized privacy policy url on your Cookie Banner. To do so, on the "Configure" tab from the "Cookie Banner" settings, click "Banner Text".
From the "Banner Text" settings, you can then customize your privacy policy url by updating the "Privacy Policy URL" text box to your liking. Click the top green "Save" button after you finished updating your privacy policy url.
In your store, by hovering over the privacy policy link on your cookie banner, you should be able to see the updated link in the bottom left corner.
