Why do I need a cookie banner?
To maintain GDPR compliance your website must display a cookie consent banner which allows the user to accept/decline the use of cookies while browsing your site.
Step-by-Step
Before adding your Enzuzo Cookie Banner to your site, make sure you configure it correctly in the cookie banner settings from the Enzuzo dashboard through the "Configure" page on the top nav.
Once you’ve customized your cookie banner to your liking, click “Add to Website” in the top nav.
On the "Add to Website" page, click the “Copy Code to Clipboard” button to copy the embed code snippet.
Open and login to your Kartra account. Open your website and click “Your code” on the tab on the left. You can then add a custom code section (the first option). Drag this component anywhere into your site (for clarity we recommend to put it at the bottom, but anywhere will work)
Hover the component and click “edit style”, a code window will appear. Paste the auto generated cookie banner snippet and paste it between the two <div> tags that already exist as shown.
Click “save”
Click Actions > Preview at the top right and then Open Preview, the custom cookie banner should now be present.
Updating Privacy Policy Link Step-by-Step
Enzuzo allows for customized privacy policy url on your Cookie Banner. To do so, on the "Configure" tab from the "Cookie Banner" settings, click "Banner Text".
2. From the "Banner Text" settings, you can then customize your privacy policy url by updating the "Privacy Policy URL" text box to your liking. Click the top green "Save" button after you finished updating your privacy policy url.
3. In your store, by hovering over the privacy policy link on your cookie banner, you should be able to see the updated link in the bottom left corner.
