Updated over a week ago

Why do I need a cookie banner?

To maintain GDPR compliance your website must display a cookie consent banner which allows the user to accept/decline the use of cookies while browsing your site.

Step-by-Step

  1. Before adding your Enzuzo Cookie Banner to your site, make sure you configure it correctly in the cookie banner settings from the Enzuzo dashboard through the "Configure" page on the top navigation bar. For more on configuring your cookie banner, see this article.

  2. To Enable/Disable the Cookie Banner click on "Add the Website" on the top navigation bar.

  3. On the "Add to Website" page, select HTML Install

  4. Click Copy Code to copy the HTML code snippet

  5. On Blogger, click “Theme” from the left-side menu, then “Customize drop-down” for more design options. Then press “Edit HTML”.

    Theme -> Customize drop-down -> Edit HTML
  6. In the code scroll down to the “Header tags” and paste your Enzuzo Cookie Banner code between the opening(<head>) and closing tag (</head>).

    Paste code into Body tags

  7. Now you can save your newly implemented code and you will see the cookie banner at the bottom of every page.

Updating Privacy Policy Link Step-by-Step

  1. Enzuzo allows for a custom privacy policy URL on your Cookie Banner. To do so, on the "Configure" tab from the "Cookie Banner" settings, click "Banner Text".

  2. Here in the "Banner Text" settings, you can change different text that appear on your cookie banner, such as banner message, as well as the "Privacy Policy URL". Click "Save" once you've finished editing.

  3. In your store, by hovering over the privacy policy link on your cookie banner, you should be able to see the updated link in the bottom left corner.
