Supporting Multiple Locales

To do so, from the Enzuzo Homepage click "Cookie Banner" from the side nav bar, then click the "Configure" tab, and lastly click "Banner Text". In the "Privacy Policy URL" component input {{shopify.routes.root}}apps/enzuzo/privacy and click the green "Save" button.

Note: Please ensure that the languages/locale on your Shopify Online Store are supported by Enzuzo.

On the Shopify store admin, you can test out the proxy was set up correctly by adding languages to your online store through the store's language settings.

After adding the supported languages to your Shopify store, on the store homepage, by hovering over the "Learn More" link on the cookie banner popup you should be able to see the proper url appear in the left corner of the screen. It should read as {{yourshopifystoreurl}}/{{language}}/apps/enzuzo/privacy when set up correctly.

Proxy Support

Additionally, Enzuzo allows you to support shopify app proxies. To incorporate your proxy url you would need to update the standard /apps/enzuzo/privacy url to your customized proxy that was set up in your Shopify store, eg. /a/enzuzo/privacy within the Enzuzo app.

From your Shopify store admin page, in Settings click "Apps and sales Channel".

From here, click onto the "Enzuzo Data Privacy" app.

In the App proxy section, click "Customize URL". A popup box will appear where you can customize your proxy accordingly.

The next steps would be to update the new proxy in the Enzuzo App. To do so, from the Enzuzo Homepage click "Cookie Banner" from the side nav bar, then click the "Configure" tab, and lastly click "Banner Text". In the "Privacy Policy URL" component input your customized proxy.

For example, the proxy here was changed from /apps/enzuzo/privacy to /apps/enzuzo-proxy/privacy
