Why do I need a cookie banner?
To maintain GDPR compliance your website must display a cookie consent banner which allows the user to accept/decline the use of cookies while browsing your site.
Step-By-Step
Before adding your Enzuzo Cookie Banner to your site, make sure you configure it correctly in the cookie banner settings from the Enzuzo dashboard through the "Configure" page on the top nav.
Once you’ve customized your cookie banner to your liking, click “Add to Website” in the top nav.
On the "Add to Website" page, click the “Copy Code to Clipboard” button to copy the embed code snippet.
Open your website’s main HTML file (usually named index.html) and paste the auto-generated cookie banner snippet into the website <head>. Save the file.
Open the website in your browser and refresh the page, the custom cookie banner should now be present.
Updating Privacy Policy Link Step-by-Step
Enzuzo allows for customized privacy policy url on your Cookie Banner. To do so, on the "Configure" tab from the "Cookie Banner" settings, click "Banner Text".
From the "Banner Text" settings, you can then customize your privacy policy url by updating the "Privacy Policy URL" text box to your liking. Click the top green "Save" button after you finished updating your privacy policy url.
In your store, by hovering over the privacy policy link on your cookie banner, you should be able to see the updated link in the bottom left corner.
