How to manually add a DSAR to your dashboard

In this article, you will learn how to manually add a customer data request to your Enzuzo dashboard.

Updated over a year ago

When do you need to add a request manually?

Using Enzuzo customers can submit data subject access requests (DSARs) through your privacy policy form, or your DSAR form/page. However, in some cases, you may receive a customer data request from an external source.

For example, your customer may request you to delete them from your system by replying to your marketing email.

DSARs can be made in the following ways:

  • Your Enzuzo privacy policy

  • Using your DSAR form/page on your website

  • By telephone

  • By email or support chat

  • By mail

๐Ÿ’ก Privacy Tip: If someone makes a request by phone, email or support chat, you can link them to your DSAR form and tell them to submit it there saving you time.

Add a data request to your dashboard

To ensure that you get due date reminders and that data requests are completed on time, it's important to manually add any requests you receive. This will also ensure that you have accurate DSAR data when reviewing your overall compliance.

  1. From the Enzuzo dashboard, click on Requests in the left navigation.

  2. Once in the DSAR dashboard, click on the plus icon in the top right.

  3. You will see a popup that allows you to Add a User Request

  4. Fill in the details of the DSAR request details and click Submit when completed

  5. The additional data request will now appear in the Active Requests tab. You will receive reminders and be able to see the status update, as well as how many days are left before you complete it.
