Consent Sharing
Updated over a week ago

Currently Consent Sharing is only available on Growth+ plans.

Consent sharing is when one or more websites can share the consent of visitors. When a visitor accepts/declines the banner in one website, they will automatically accept/decline in other websites that share the consent. Consent sharing generally fall into two categories, sub-domain consent sharing and cross-domain consent sharing.

Sub-domain consent sharing

Sub-domain consent sharing can be enabled for websites that share the parent domain, including the parent domain itself. For example, example.com, www.example.com, and sub.example.com can all be configured for sub-domain consent sharing with the parent domain of example.com.

You can enable sub-domain consent sharing under Cookie Consent -> Preference Center -> Configure -> Consent Sharing. Enable the option "Allow this domain and its subdomain to share consent" and fill in the parent domain for all domains participating in consent sharing.

Cross-domain consent sharing

Cross-domain consent sharing refers to when cosent sharing is desirable for domains not not sharing the same parent domain. For example, xyz.com and abc.com do not share the same parent domain. Currently, we do not support cross-domain consent sharing.
