Why do I need a privacy policy?

Having a privacy policy on your website is a legal requirement and is essential for communicating how your business collects and uses your customer data. A privacy policy also helps your business stay compliant with data privacy laws, saving you from potential controversy and expensive fines.

Step-by-Step

  1. Before adding your Enzuzo Privacy Policy to your site, make sure you configure it correctly in the privacy policy settings from the Enzuzo dashboard through the "Configure" page on the top nav.

  2. Once you’ve customized your privacy policy to your liking, click “Add to Website” in the top nav.

  3. On the "Add to Website" page, click the “Copy Code to Clipboard” button to copy the embed code snippet.

  4. Open your drupal website.

  5. Click Structure > Block Layout > Place Block (wherever relevant) > Add custom block > Basic Block.

  6. Add a description and paste the generated code snippet into the body.

  7. Set text format to “Full HTML” and click Save.

  8. Set the region and click “save block”.

  9. Go back to the site. If the element is showing the raw HTML instead of the custom integrated code, hover over the section, click “edit” at the top right. Then click the pencil beside the element and select “quick edit”. Click “sourcedelete the field and repaste the generated code snippet here. Click “save” and return to preview the site.

  10. You should now see your custom privacy policy on the site.
